Automatic Homeschool Compliance
Stay compliant with your state's homeschool laws automatically. Our platform detects your state's regulation level and generates every required document - from initial notification letters to end-of-year assessments - without you lifting a pen.
How Regulation Tiers Work
Homeschool regulations vary dramatically across the United States. We classify them into four tiers to simplify compliance:
- No-Notice States (e.g., Texas, Alaska, Idaho): No government notification required. You simply begin homeschooling. Our platform still generates optional records for your own documentation.
- Low-Regulation States (e.g., California, Georgia, Nevada): Requires a basic notification or registration. We auto-generate and remind you of annual filing deadlines.
- Moderate-Regulation States (e.g., Florida, Colorado, Virginia): Requires notification plus standardized testing or portfolio evaluation. We track test dates, generate portfolio summaries, and produce compliant score reports.
- High-Regulation States (e.g., New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts): Requires approval of curriculum plans, regular progress reports, and professional evaluations. We generate IHIPs, quarterly reports, and assessment documentation that meets your district's standards.
What Gets Generated Automatically
As your child learns through our platform, compliance documents are produced in the background. Attendance hours are logged, subjects are tracked against state standards, and progress reports are compiled on schedule. When your state requires a filing, you receive a notification with the completed document ready for review and submission.
