Florida does not guarantee a universal homeschool tax deduction. The Personalized Education Program can provide ESA funds for eligible PEP students, but Florida treats PEP and home education programs as distinct pathways.

Amount or support: 100% of in-state tuition for an eligible associate degree for up to two years or six terms; books, supplies, and lab fees are excluded. Eligible 2026 graduates of in-district homeschool programs in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, or St. Lucie County may qualify for Indian River State College's Promise when they submit the homeschool affidavit, school-district letter, FAFSA, residency documents, and enrollment materials.

1. Confirm whether the route is independent homeschooling, public enrollment, private-school enrollment, a charter program, or another restricted program.
2. Ask the administrator what proof of residency, filing, enrollment, age, grade, disability, or income is required.
3. Confirm the current award year, deadline, approved expenses, provider restrictions, and whether funds flow to the family or to the program.
4. Keep receipts, approvals, and the original official instructions with the learning records you use at home.
