AP-Aligned Homeschool Curriculum
AP-Aligned Courses for Homeschoolers
Compare 40 college-level homeschool course paths across English, mathematics, computer science, science, history, languages, arts, and Capstone. Each page shows the starting point, weekly work, major projects, and the distinction between framework alignment and AP Course Audit authorization.
What to Check Before You Choose a Course
Look past the course title. Check the prerequisites, the work your student will produce, when feedback arrives, what a normal week looks like, and how exam or portfolio access is arranged.
Arts
This course needs a sustained studio or performance practice without turning the year into a loose collection of projects. We provide the sequence, critique, revision points, and evidence that keep the work moving.
English
This course needs demanding reading and writing without making the parent the only editor, discussion partner, and grader. We provide the lessons, mentor response, and revision loop.
History & Social Sciences
This course needs real depth and defensible sourcing rather than a march through dates and a multiple-choice test. We provide source work, guided analysis, and feedback on evidence-based arguments.
Mathematics & Computer Science
This course needs college-level math with prerequisite gaps surfaced before they derail the year. We use placement, targeted practice, and mentor feedback to keep the foundation connected to the advanced work.
Sciences
This course needs college-level reasoning with realistic equipment, supervision, and lab records. We provide the lab sequence, method guidance, analysis prompts, mentor feedback, and record structure; local safety arrangements remain visible before enrollment.
World Languages
This course needs frequent authentic communication, not vocabulary lists and occasional workbook exercises. We provide listening, speaking, source-based work, feedback, and cultural comparison throughout the year.
Capstone
This course needs a student-led research year with real standards, realistic scope, and visible milestones. We provide question development, method guidance, mentor feedback, and revision checkpoints.
Course Authorization and Exam Access
The public catalog uses “Advanced” course titles. Alignment to a named AP framework does not by itself authorize the AP label on a transcript, register a student for an exam, or guarantee college credit. Families arrange exam access separately with a participating school or test center.
